understanding vision

2 And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. 3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. Habakkuk 2:2-3

Where there is no vision, the people perish... Proverbs 29:18

Christ’s commission to his disciples in Matthew 28:19 was very clear.

Go and make disciples! And the disciple’s assignment was to reproduce themselves in the earth:

We exist to RE | PRESENT Jesus to the community; to build a Christ–centered culture and advance the kingdom of God, one disciple at a time.

  • RE | Present Jesus: The identity and character of Christ’s church have been diluted to represent many things in the world. And because of that reason, the real meaning and message of who Jesus is, His life, mission, and commission to us have been misconstrued.

  • Christ-Centered Culture: A church that has built a Christ-centered culture is a church that is founded upon the clear concise teaching of the Word of God from pre-school to puberty to the pulpit; the church must be unified around one central understanding: The Gospel of Jesus Christ transforms.

Our mission is to RE | Preach the message of grace to the lost, RE | Introduce the love of Christ to the community,

RE | Produce disciples, and RE | Commission them for kingdom advancement.

OUR RESPONSIBILITY AS KINGDOM CITIZENS:

  1. Support the visionary/leadership through our commitment and faithfulness.

  2. Embrace the vision through unity. (1 Corinthians 1:10)

  3. Take ownership of the vision by using our gifts, skills, and talents to enhance and advance the vision.

CORE VALUE SYSTEM

We VALUE People

“PEOPLE MATTER TO GOD”

We believe that PEOPLE matter to God! Therefore, PEOPLE MATTER TO US. God demonstrated the highest value placed on people when he gave his very best, his Son, to provide the gift of salvation.

(John 3:16, Romans 5:8, Luke 15:7, Luke 15:10)

We VALUE Growth

“A MATURE CHURCH IS A HEALTH CHURCH”

We believe that the spiritual growth of a disciple is most important to a healthy church. Therefore, daily, we apply life changing principles discovered in God’s Word to our lives in order to grow and

become more stable and effective in our faith. (Psalms 119:11, Romans 8:28, 2 Timothy 2:15)

We VALUE Excellence

“GOD IS HONORED IN EXCELLENCE”

We believe that God is honored when our gifts and talents are offered in excellence. We also believe that excellence is a mindset one MUST have to achieve EXCELLENCY. Therefore, we offer excellence to God in everything that we do. (Daniel 6:3, Hebrews 11:4)

We VALUE Service

“EVERY KINGDOM CITIZEN IS A MINISTER”

We believe that every kingdom citizen (disciple) is equipped as a minister to serve the needs of others. We are encouraged to develop and exercise our gifts and talents to serve not only the church, but our community, and the world. (1 Peter 4:10, Romans 12:6-8, 1 Corinthians 12:4-7, Ephesians 4:11-13)

KINGDOM

ACCOUNTABILITY

If Kingdom Culture Community Church is a “Friendly Church”, then it’s because you are friendly and have made it that way. A Friendly Church is an inviting church with a wholesome atmosphere where all people are welcomed to be free to worship. Is your church a Friendly Church?

If Kingdom Culture Community Church is a “Giving Church”, then it’s because you are a consistent giver. A Giving Church is a loving church, a church that practices not only giving tithe and offering, but giving love, giving patience, giving forgiveness, giving service, and giving time. Is your church a Giving Church?

If Kingdom Culture Community Church is a “Growing Church”, then it’s because you come regularly with your family to learn from God’s Word. A Growing Church is not just about attendance only. It is also about committing yourself to maturing in the word of God as a Believer. Is your church a Growing Church?

If Kingdom Culture Community Church is a “Praying Church”, then it’s because you regularly and consistently pray for your church and your leaders. Prayer for your church and the leadership of your church is one of the most important prayers that you can pray, because it keeps the church and the leadership of your church in the concern of your heart and covered to make a difference in the lives and souls of many. Is your church a Praying Church?

If Kingdom Culture Community Church is a “Spirit Led Church”, then it’s because you walk in the Spirit daily. A Spirit led church is not a church of emotions or impulses. The Spirit led church is a church that is led by the direction of the Holy Spirit to ensure that the purpose of God is to be fulfilled in the community as well as the Kingdom. Is your church a Spirit Led Church?

If Kingdom Culture Community Church is a “Victorious Church”, then it’s because you will settle for nothing less. A Victorious Church is a church of faith, a church that walks by faith. A Victorious Church is a church that walks, lives, and talks with the attitude that “We’ve already won”! Is your church a Victorious Church?

If Kingdom Culture Community Church is a “Word Church”, then it’s because you “study to show yourself approved unto God...rightly dividing the word of truth.” A Word Church is a church that believes in the truth of God’s word, and that God’s word provides the principles and precepts for us to follow as Kingdom representatives in the earth. The Word Church is word-centered, word-focused, and word-operated. Is your church a Word Church?

*Remember, Kingdom Culture Community Church will be exactly what you make it!
